Maybe you’ve been kayaking before but your arms gave out before you wanted to be done paddling, maybe anytime you get into a kayak you feel like it’s going to flip over, maybe you’ve never even sat in a kayak but you want to take on a new challenge! This course is for you!

Build your confidence as a person and a paddler by learning proper paddling techniques, how your whole body can help you feel stable in your boat, and learn gear and safety guidelines to ensure a great day on the water.

This course will cover:

• Basic paddling strokes

• What gear is right for you

• How be ready for a paddle

• Requirements of non-motorized boats

• Simple safety and rescue options

This is a 4 hour class both on land and on the water, please bring a picnic lunch
